About Netfa Perry

As a native New Yorker born in Manhattan, Netfa Perry was raised in Brooklyn but grew up in the Bronx. Exposed to the arts throughout her childhood, Netfa fell in love with the theater. She has been in plays since Montessori and studied at renowned drama schools such as American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Lee Strasburg.

With an extensive dance background, Netfa studied at The Joffrey Ballet School and Alvin Ailey. Later she attended Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University where she honed her acting craft. Soon after college, Netfa was invited to join an off-Broadway production company playing the lead in several productions, and starring in several independent films.

In a few weeks of relocating to Los Angeles, Netfa booked a small role in the pilot, “Hightower 411” which led to being a series regular on “The Steve Harvey Show” playing Sara. Over the past few years, Netfa has appeared in several guest roles on Emmy-award winning television shows including C.S.I., ER, Judging Amy, and Boston Public. She has also appeared in several feature films including Free of Eden with Sidney Poitier.
